Acadia Nat'l Park, ME to North Conway, NH

October 1st-3rd, 2008

We leave Acadia National Park on October 1st - direction New Hampshire. Having heard good things about Portland, ME, we decide to follow Highway 1 along the coast. We find a few cute towns along the way. Searsport, Rockland and Camden are all worth stopping at for a while.

We spend a day and a half doing the tourist thing and exploring Portland. The town is pleasant. Many interesting brick buildings in the old port area. The restaurant scene was a bit disappointing though. Very touristy.
